La Bodega (meaning – The Cellar) boutique bed & breakfast is located on Park Point Drive on the western end of Waiheke Island, the jewel of Auckland’s stunning Hauraki Gulf. Set in wonderful native bush, the home enjoys panoramic views over Matarahui Bay and out to the Coromandel Peninsula.

Only 10 minutes by car from the passenger ferry at Matiatia Wharf and 20 minutes from Kennedy Point where the car ferry arrives. The view from La Bodega’s deck also takes in extensive grounds and a boutique vineyard planted with Pinot Gris and Syrah, two of Waiheke’s most awarded varietals.

When you stay, take a pleasant and revitalising stroll through the vines and check out the raised-bed garden, source of many of the ingredients for their homemade breakfast.
