What a special treat it was to come across this restaurant and on our way out of Tauranga. It’s a Japanese meets the Pacific fusion. Located in the heart of Tauranga. It’s easy to reach and ideal for tourists. Visitors can enjoy exploring the bustling city centre nearby. We were spoiled with some absolute delights! For sample; the Beef Tataki and the Spicy Tuna Yukke. The restaurant is changing hands, let’s hope the food is as excellent as it was when we visited. Assuming so, it’s certainly one to visit. But give us your thoughts!

in the last weekWith warm welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff, we absolutely enjoyed our evening dinner at terrace table! They’ve got a variety of unique drinks and we loved Sakura martini ;) all foods we tried were fantastic too. We definitely come back again :)

in the last weekHighly recommend this place. We came here for a birthday party. The service was outstanding and super friendly and attentive. The vibe was warm and cosy and the price was excellent for the worth of food. We ordered the bangute and it was delicious I would rate a 7/10 for the food as there is always room for improvement, for example the chilli on the dumplings i would say overpowered the truffle but otherwise we didn't complain at all. We will be back again.

a month ago10/10 . Amazing meal. We dined at harbourside 4 days prior for my birthday and it was so unbelievably shit we wanted to go out and try and redeem the experience. It cost us 1/2 the money at Umami and was 500% better, if that’s even a measurement! Thank for your superb service, knowledge on the menu, guidance on portion sizes, delivering beautifully presented, cooked and flavoursome food. Friends of ours from Auckland who also just moved here highly recommended it and we can see why. Our new favourite. Keep up the amazing work
