Flat White Cafe – Waihi Beach

Friendly and quick service. Food was good. Great view of the ocean.

We paid for the view. The owner was not in the mood to say hi to customers. Only one person taking order, quite lost. The drinks came while after we ordered. Kids Mac n cheese were boiled, too hot for a kid without patience. Seafood chowder with too much celery. The burger Patys were the frozen ones from supermarket. Great outdoor area for the kids and beautiful view.

Booked a table in advanced on new years food isn’t worth the price. Some of the waiters are extremely rude as is the manager who really shouldn’t be the manager at all! Also $33 for a fish n chips id rather go fishing and catch it myself then cook it then peel potatoes for chips then cook them, than pay for that again.

Shocking……. Table booked in advance. Spend your time and money at the tea tree cafe inside Waihi, and also highly recommend down tyme with chef Roland. Food too expensive for portion size. Bland. Service slow, staff unhelpful. Especially a waiter who when questioned about the bill was belligerent, and padded our reciept. Paid to leave. Would sooner make love to glass than return here.

Went there for dinner with a group had to wait 25 minutes to be seen we ordered a few drinks 20 minutes later got the drink then 15 minutes later thay toke our order waited 40 fo food to be cooked .i got a steak for my partner at 50$ u think it would have came with a salad and mash nope just came with meat and a tim tam sized corn breed that was dryer then a Arabs sandle tooped off with corn sauce and menu was lacking in options i mean proper food not half meals so u have to buy expensive sides to make it woth it and 100$ i was left wanting and I got the chicken was nice but paster in soy sauce wth are thay thinking the soy sauce was so salty it burned my throat
