I can only comment on the service we received as guests at a wedding, the quality of food, and the ambience. Top notch in all aspects. Will definitely consider this as a possible venue for a special occasion. And we’re central/east Aucklanders.

My daughter and I had the pleasure of dining at Amore on Sunday night, and what a pleasure it was. We both had the Chicken Camembert with seasoned vegetables. It was just perfection. Generally seasoned vegetable would maybe potatoes with a small serving of two vegetables. The veges here were a very generous serving of Roast Potatoes, Carrot, Broccolli, Courgette, Green Beans. The chicken was also a generous serving. Everything was cooked superbly and the service was faultless. For a Sunday night they were quite busy which only speaks volumes for their reputation I just can’t wait to return to indulge in more of their wonderful offerings.

Shane and I went for our brunch yesterday and we ordered "catch of the day fish and chips". The fish tasted so fresh and it was cooked to perfection as well as the chips. The salad was seasoned well and the dip just completed the whole meal. The Americano was as amazing, too.

As an Italian, born and raised, this restaurant is a disgrace. You DON’T put cream in carbonara. And that’s just one of the many horrors. Just reading the menu is an insult to my whole country. Please stop - cultural appropriation at its worst.
