Nelson Market has been a staple since 1978, fostering community spirit and showcasing the region’s crafts and produce. It has grown into a beloved weekend activity for both locals and tourists.

We always like to stock up on some local honey and have some breakfast there too if we have time. Nelson is famous for their Saturday market but they also have a smaller version on Wednesdays too (as per photos as shown). During spring, look for freshly-picked asparagus, while summer brings sweet berries. Each season offers different delights, ensuring every visit is a fresh experience. Well worth a stop through if you’re about especially on Saturdays.

Arrive early for the best selection and to avoid the midday crowd. Parking is available nearby; consider using local transportation for ease and convenience.
